We’ll go through your dance in detail – whether you want help interpreting the music, sharpening your accents or just getting that final “polish” the judges are looking for. I help you feel safe and radiant on stage.
Choreography & Creation
Do you need a new dance? I offer tailor-made choreographies adapted to your level and your personality. You can either buy a brand new, unique choreography that we create together, or license a ready-made dance from my repertoire. The price varies depending on whether you choose tailor-made or ready-made material.
Styling, Costume & Makeup
The whole is crucial on stage. Book a private session in stage make-up where you learn how to apply make-up that can withstand spotlights and sweat. I also help you with your costume – from choosing the right model in the store to pinning, resewing or styling it so that it fits perfectly on your body.

COMPETITION COACHING (YOUR DANCE)
You already have a choreography. We hone technique, expression and stage presence. Recommendation 60 min / 1 min choreography and 60 min extra for overall training. Ex: Your choreography is 3 minutes = 4 hours.

CHOREOGRAPHY-CREATION 10 lessons
We create the dance together on site in the studio based on your music and feeling. I recommend 10 lessons to both create a dance and you should know it flawlessly. Each lesson is 60 minutes.

CONSULTATION COSTUME & STYLING
Unsure about clothing? For 60 minutes, I help you with choices and changes. You will get concrete tips on dance style, resizing, easier sewing and how to secure the costume so that it fits safely when you compete.

SCENE MAKE-UP
Apply makeup that can withstand strong headlights and sweat. Techniques to highlight your features and match dance costume, color, and style (e.g., sharqi or folklore) to your dance. One lesson is 60 minutes.

New CHOREOGRAPHY (I CREATE)
I create a completely unique dance for you in advance. This dance is created only for you and is not taught to other dancers. Price example 3 minutes choreography 6000 SEK. Time to practice the choreography will be added.

FAQ
Do I have to be a professional to book artist development?
No, not at all! These packages are for anyone who has a dream of being on stage, whether it’s your first show on a hafla or if you’re going for a major international competition. We adapt the level completely to you.
Can I film during class?
Yes, at the end of each lesson we set aside time to film the day’s progress. It’s a great tool for you to be able to practice at home between our meetings and I should be able to plan our next lesson.
Do we need to see each other before I book a large package?
For the larger packages (such as customized choreography), a short consultation (via email or phone) is included to check your goals, dates and music choices before we get started.
How does it work to create a choreography together?
This is a very creative and fun process! Instead of me preparing everything in advance, we build the dance together in the studio. I suggest steps and combinations, and we test ourselves to find out what feels best in your body. This is perfect for those who want to learn how to build a dance and want to have a direct influence on every detail.
Should I bring my own makeup to the makeup workshop?
Yes, bring your own makeup bag! The goal is for you to learn how to use your products in the best way. I also bring a large kit with different products, brushes to test what suits you.
What happens after I buy a package?
As soon as you have completed your purchase in the store, you will receive a confirmation. Then email me at [selina@skaka.se] and we will find times that suit you. Please tell us in the email if you have any specific goals or if there is anything in particular you want to focus on.
What should I wear to the competition coaching?
Come in tight workout clothes (e.g. leggings and tank top) so that I can clearly see your knees and your posture. If you have your race suit, feel free to bring it! It is useful to dance in the costume to get used to the weight and fit.
What do you need to create my choreography?
In order for me to create a number that feels like “you”, I need to know three things:
1. The music: Which song do you want to dance to?
2. Context: Is it for competition, show or just for you?
3. Your strengths: Are there movements you love or tools (like veils) you’d like to include? The more I know about your vision, the better the end result will be.
How many lessons are needed for a full dance?
It depends on your level and the length of the choreography. To learn a whole dance (about 3 min) and set the technique, I recommend my package of 10 lessons. Then we have time to both create, grind in the steps and work on the expression so that you feel completely safe on stage.
Can you sew up a brand new costume for me?
During the consultation, I mainly help you with changes, adaptations and styling of the suit you have or are going to buy. I also sell costumes in the studio. If you want a brand new costume sewn from scratch, contact me for a separate quote and timetable
