No, absolutely not. The mentorship is for you to grow in your role. Maybe you lead a study circle today, or you dream of holding your very first course in belly dancing. We tailor the level to your needs so that you develop into a safe and inspiring instructor.
CAN I FILM DURING OUR MEETINGS?
Yes, it is recommended! Filming is an important educational tool. We set aside time at the end of each session to film summaries of new dance techniques, choreography or exercises. That material becomes your memory bank so that you can repeat at home.
IS CONSULTATION INCLUDED BEFORE WE START?
For that mentorship package, we always start with a needs analysis (via email or Zoom). We check your dance school’s vision, your target group and what specific educational challenges you want to solve, so that we can tailor the setup for you.
CAN YOU HELP ME CREATE DANCE FOR MY STUDENTS?
Absolute! In the mentorship, we can focus on choreography techniques. We go through how to choose music, adapt steps to the students’ level and create interesting formations. The goal is to give you the tools to compose professional dances for your semester.
CAN WE RUN THE MENTORSHIP ONLINE?
Yes, absolutely. If you do not live in Malmö, we meet digitally via Zoom. It works great for both educational advice, theory and business strategy. We can also watch videos from your teaching together via screen sharing to analyze your technique.
HOW DOES THE BOOKING OF MENTORING WORK?
After completing the purchase, I will contact you personally via email. We will find times that suit your schedule for our meetings. Before the start, you are welcome to tell us if you want to focus mostly on pedagogy, business development or honing your own technique for belly dancing.
