I’ve just uploaded a new clip of belly dancing on YouTube. I thought it was time since I probably have 50 videos on my computer to upload. Better late than never, right? <\/p>\n
This clip is from a Turkish festival in Folkets Park in Malm\u00f6. The event was arranged by the Turkish Association and music and song were provided by Timur Sakka. The performance is completely improvised. It was very relaxed as Timur and I have worked together at both restaurants and other events with belly dancing for 15 years. You can almost see how we both take it cool on stage, he with his synthesizer and I with my dance steps. It’s always nice when musicians and dancers can be on stage relaxed together. <\/p>\n
By the way, it was pretty chilly outside, so I’m wearing double skirts and a top with sleeves for my belly dance costume. The belly dance costume is from a Turkish designer and is a jumpsuit of several belly dance costumes that I had at home. The idea was that the costume would match the colors of the Turkish flag. Got a little bit of black too. <\/p>\n
